TRINYL INDUSTRIAL LINE
The Trinyl line of non–woven fiber of Gruppo Itexa is intended for finishing, satin finishing or the reduction of surface roughness, thus going to operate where the other abrasive tools have finished their work.
Trinyl is a three-dimensional product characterized by an open and elastic structure, able to work without clogging and without contaminating the treated surface; guarantees a continuous reviving of the abrasive granules, do not cause any noise, ensures uniformity and reproducibility of the degree of finish, without overheating and altering the geometry of the process. The nature of the element that make it up makes Trynil unalterable over time, waterproof, usable both dry and in the presence of lubricants. The wide range of variants available allows its use on multiple materials. Trynil fibers are supplied in rolls of 1.50 meters in high using high-performance chemicals, with three different types of mineral: aluminium oxide, silicon carbide and zirconium.
Aluminium Oxide
Aluminium oxide is made from a tough and very wear-resistant material. It's used when a greater speed of use is required. Compared to silicon carbide, has a lower cutting capacity, but is more resistant.
Its long-lasting life and the result of the work performed make it the most used mineral in the abrasive sector. The aluminium oxide satin finish on a metal surface is semi –opaque.
DiscoverSilicon Carbide
Silicon carbide is made up of very irregular vitreous crystals with very sharp edges, a characteristic that makes it the material with the greatest ability to penetrate and cut under a certain pressure.
Compared to aluminium oxide, it has a greater cutting power, but a shorter life, due to the fragility of the mineral, which shatters reducing the section of the granule and decreasing its sign; for this reason a silicon carbide satin finish on a metal surface is semi-gloss.
DiscoverZirconium Oxide
Compared to the other two materials, zirconium oxide has a greater ability to shatter when the surface temperature of the treated object increases. This feature offers the advantage of making zirconium oxide a self-sharpening abrasive during processing: the continuous crushing of the grains produces new and sharp abrasive cusps.
This quality makes it a very suitable material for the satin finishing of the stainless steel.
DiscoverManual Applications and Special Applications
Line dedicated to processes that require particular manual skills, such as bodywork, wooden window frames, lacquered materials, fiberglass, hobby. Made on a phenolic base and completed with aluminium oxide or silicon carbide depending on the type of treatment they are aimed at,
the abrasive products for special applications cover a wide range of possible uses, depending on whether delicacy or strength, flexibility or stiffness, processing speed or attention to shape retention.
